Godfrey Dadich Partners (GDP) is pioneering The New Editorial. We bring together journalism, strategy, and design to help organizations tell better stories. And we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to join the team.

We are looking for a hardworking, curious, and enthusiastic person to support Founder and co-CEO Scott Dadich. This individual will work at the center of the firm and among its leaders, co-directing GDP’s administrative duties while managing busy calendars. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the partners, management team, and administrative team to effectively support senior leadership in their interactions with clients, partners, staff, and prospects. 

The Executive Assistant plays a key role in the company. This individual will broadly support the company’s functions according to circumstances and needs. If you are an organized, optimistic, and thoughtful person  seeking to join a close-knit (and fun-loving) shop, this role might be for you. 

This is a San Francisco based role.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing and managing a high-volume calendar while keeping track of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Booking and managing travel and accommodations
  • Creating and submitting all expenses for reimbursement
  • Co-managing and co-directing office administrative tasks such as event planning, meeting set-up for client engagements, and ordering and tracking office supplies
  • Helping to manage communications with regard to internal meetings, new business, and existing client relationships
  • Willingness to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and its staff members
  • Helping other members of the executive support staff to perform their duties to the best of their ability with a focus on new business development logistics
  • Carrying out other duties as necessary, which may include tasks such as client correspondence, making phone calls, and electronic filing of key documents on GDP servers
  • Acts as a representative of the chief executive officer, both in and outside the firm
  • Assist in coordination of workplace internal celebrations
  • Collaborate and provide backup support for Deputy to co-CEO Scott Dadich

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience in administrative or executive management preferred
  • Proficiency using G-Suite and Slack
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments
  • Efficient and hardworking with eagerness to learn
  • Trustworthy and reliable with confidential communications and financials
  • Resourceful problem solver with the ability to prioritize and tackle myriad tasks each day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in and excitement for the work GDP is pioneering in strategy, communications, media, and design
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment that will require a high degree of mental, social, and emotional agility—no two days are the same!
